About Tim

Tim Hewitt is a shareholder of Logan-Thompson, P.C., and his practice is focused on criminal defense in both state and federal court. He obtained his J.D. and Criminal Law Certificate with Honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Tim has successfully defended thousands of criminal cases and has more than 13 years of trial experience serving East and Southeast Tennessee. He began his career as an assistant public defender in Knox County (2013 to 2019) before joining Logan-Thompson in 2019. He is dedicated to aggressively protecting the rights of his clients and to providing a superior level of service to citizens accused of a crime.

Tim is a native of Southeast Tennessee. He is married with three children and serves as a deacon at his local Presbyterian church.
